There are two ways a woman can choose while on Clomid. 1) take the dosage and see your gyno in a few months (to check cyst/blockage build up, and/or wait for pregnancy) However, this is hoping that one egg drops. or 2) see an endocrynologist who will monitor the clomid once a week or so. The endo will let you know if you drop multiple eggs in a cycle and they can warn you against trying for pregnancy that month due to the possibility of having multiples.
1)Hope for the best on your own or 2) monitor for multiples and for ovulation success in general.
My doctor did not do it either but I was on 50mg clomid and I ovulated on my own. Also I dont have infertility coverage.
Do you have infertility coverage? Also if you are on 100mg you may need to be monitored. If you have insurance may be you can call your doctor and ask him if monitoring is required. Good luck.
