Concerned

my doctor told me I had white spots on my ultrasound and on placenta what is it ?? I'm already underweight nd small nd could have him early I'm 6 months rn

I would talk with your doctor and get all the information from them. As they will know more. I think it's basically the placenta is ageing faster than it should it's not normally an issue but may make baby be born smaller but you should go to full term unless they induce you.

Could be calcium deposits which I think it was I had and cause my daughter to be underweight (although full term). She's a healthy toddler now!

As you get towards the end if you pregnancy the placenta starts calcifying that's as much as I know about it tho.

I had white spots on my placenta with my last pregnancy and the it was calcium deposits. I believe it was from not having enough blood flow due to the pre eclampsia

they told me at a diffrent appointment nd say they'll check again in 4 weeks
