Contractions?

Can they feel like bad gas pains? I'm a second time mom, but never felt contractions with my first. I've got this pain that feels like I have bad gas, but it won't break down (fart), but it will get more intense every couple minutes or so. Nothing I'm concerned or paniced about, just curious to if this could be what contractions feel like. I'm 35wks today.

Babies are typically less since when you're contracting. If baby stops moving during these pains it could be contractions.

It could be. With my second I had gas pains. Itthought it was because I was eating hot sauce and I had to #2 (sorry if tmi) then my water broke. And I was dialated to a 6 by the time I arrived to the hospital I got to the hospital about 15mins after my water broke

Im not sure. I don't have a cute round belly, lol I've always had a little pudge, so when I do try to feel if it's hardened, it feels the same.
