It depends how your baby is facing. If his back is toward your back, you will tend to get back labor. I've never had it but I heard it's worse than normal labor. You can look up counter-pressure methods.

Mine differ, sometimes i feel it in front first and then it will start in the back too or sometimes it's the other way around or sometimes it's just the front or the back :S
