Contractions?

So I'm 37 weeks and dilated at a 2 and a half,but I haven't had any contractions.. At least I don't think so, though for about the past week I've been having a horrible pain in my back, its on the right side directly under my ribs. At first I thought it was just the baby balled up right there, but now I don't think so. I've read about labor starting with 'back contractions', but everything says its in the lower back, I don't feel like mine are in the lower back, but in the middle. I feel like it might be contractions because its not a solid pain, and does come and go. Has anyone else had this?

I think i went threw the same thing kuz i was induced and from 0 to 5 with iut ever feeling a thing

I get muscle spasms in my mid back, which feels like they come and go!
