Cookie Dough Ice Cream?

Is store bought cookie dough ice cream such as Ben and Jerry's okay for pregnancy?

YES you are allowed to eat cookie though ice cream from the store lol enjoy it, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

If you were to eat raw cookie dough that was made to be cooked into actual cookies, it could potentially be dangerous because those do have raw eggs in them usually!

Because the purpose of cookie dough ice cream isn't to cook if, they don't put raw egg in it. And most ice cream doesn't have raw eggs, there are certain types that do and places like orange Julius USED TO out raw eggs in their shakes/smoothies but they don't anymore... I actually just had one the other day and asked before hand (:

I eat ice cream almost everyday. Soft served, or homemade ice cream id avoid. Not sure about cookie dough. I had it once and it made my tummy hurt kind of freaked me out but my son is fine. Maybe avoid the cookie dough till you run it by your doctor

Ice cream is fine. It is soft serve ice cream that you shouldn't have because of listeria risk. But I still have that sometimes too. With my first baby I was 8 months pregnant in summer and all i wanted to eat was ice cream! So go for it :)

You can eat ice cream. I have never heard or been told my a doctor you can't eat ice cream . This is my third pregnancy and all my babies are heathy and I eat ice cream all the time .

You're not supposed to have ice cream because of the raw egg in it. I've ate some tho and Have been fine
