Could I be pregnant?

I'm 18. I've been in a relationship with my current boyfriend for almost 2 years. I've been on the birth control pill for over a year and I've only missed 1 pill and that was over 3 months ago. Ever since I've missed the pill, I've had regular 5 day periods each month. I recently had my period 2 weeks ago and it was a regular 5 day perios, but ever since then my nipples have been so sore and yesterday they were a little swollen. And that's unusual. The only time my nipples are ever sore is before I start my period, never after. I've never had them swell before, either. I'm worried. I was eating some ramen noodles this morning and I couldn't finish them, because I felt like I had to puke, but I think its just my mind playing tricks on me since I'm scared I may be pregnant. I would really appreciate your opinions. Please!

No, no antibiotics lately or even in the past 4 months. I will get a hpt tomorrow to see. Thanks for answering, Lesley! And yes, it could be ovulating, but I've never had this happen where my nipples are swollen or sore after my period. And it's been 5 days that they have been very sore,Morrisfamily. Thank you for answering as well.

Sore breasts could come along with ovalation, you said your lmp was 2 weeks ago so it would be time. Also bc isn't 100% i wouldn't worry unless you miss your next period.

Have you been on any antibiotics lately? or anything that may interupt your BC... it does seem very unlikely that being on the pill s long and taking properly that you would be pregnant, saying that BC taken properly does have that 1% chance of failure but most failures are when its taken improperly...  you could try a pregnancy test and see what that says but i am still skeptical as you are still getting your period and there are other things that can cause pregnancy symptoms...if you are really concerned you could always talk to your Dr about further testing but like i said it is possible but there isnt much saying that you truly are but anyway take a test and go from there... good luck
