Cracked ribs anyone?

I feel like my son has cracked a rib or two. that or He is just laying in a precarious position.

it hurts to breathe in and i can only get very shallow breathes in. I have tried having him move, but every time he does, it makes it harder and my chest has a throbbing sharp pain. It didn't help either that I had a really bad panic attack this morning. I've been trying to get my meds, but they only stay on record for ten days and my husband had the car all last week and the week before working 12 on 12 off.

not really thinking it happened, but just wanted to know if it's possible

I just called the hospital and they told me that there is no OB on call....whatever(the hospital stinks). The pain is subsiding though and I have an appointment on friday. I am thinking that because I have heard this cracking before. It sounds like when you crack you knuckles or pop your knee. Maybe it's just the baby trying to adjust and not having the room to I only feel the pain when the cracking sound occurs as I try to breathe in at the same time. But I have found a comfy position and it is going away. I'll call my midwife tomorrow and ask her.

Well it is very possible. I know someone who broke 3 ribs just sneezing. Call l&d and tell them about it, and see what they say. Babies can kick harder than some give them credit for, and while cases of broken/cracked ribs aren't common-they're not unheard of.
