@emalee132 depends where she is...In the UK you cant have a c-section unless it's medically necessary :)

You are allowed to opt for a scheduled c-section. But I would definitely reccommend natural unless medically necessary! I was terrified about the pain of labor (I almost pass out getting shots) well I got my epidural and didn't feel a thing, pushing was just a ton of pressure and Id do the whole thing over again in a heartbeat! Most amazing experience in the world!

I delivered natural, I prefer the natural way if there is no complication!

A doctor won't do a Cs unless there a reason to so your only choice is natural birth if your scared about the pain there are things hospital can give you

I've had 2 csections and if I could have had a natural birth I would have, but m body wasn't built to push my babies out. It's a major surgery and can be quite painful.

Vaginal is natural which indicates straight away that it is the best way to go, other than medical. It provides a healthier less stress entrance into the world in most cases, the baby is able to pick up all the good immune system boosters they get from going throughthe birth canal and then can be better prepared for life in the open world. I am planning an all natural untouched home water birth for my first. I would always encourage natural. Best for mum and bub in the long run, I also believe it can help with milk supply and production.

Ive only had vaginal births.... i couldn't imagine opting to be sliced open... recovery time longer. My sister had to have an emergency c section and could hardly get off the couch for 2 weeks. No thank you!!!!!

If there's no medical reason to do a cs in don't see why you'd even want to, it's major abdominal surgery

Personally I've only had vaginal deliveries but I don't see that it matters all that much, as long as baby is out healthily and safely that's all that's important

If your body is designed and built to give birth why wouldn't you want to go that route? The healing time is much quicker, less chances for infection, no nasty scars, out the hospital quicker. I say vaginal all the way!
