So I'm just curious because everyone in this forum seems so young. Did you plan your pregnancy or was it a surprise? This has been a huge question at work lately because it seems like everyone is pregnant.
Interesting discussion. I've been following this board, and the other pregnancy boards and maternal and child for awhile, that this board has it's own "character", for sure! On this board, mothers talk a LOT about their physical appearance concerns, concerns and frustrations with restricted movement or diet, concerns about what beauty products they aren't allowed to use, etc. And wanting to get the baby out early. Much more than on the other boards - the questions on the other board tend to be related to health issues, fear of loss, fear about the baby's development, concerns about understanding doctor's advice, etc.
It's youth. I find this board invigorating, but I will say I often feel like many pregnant women in this board are unprepared for the responsibilities that the birth of their babies will bring.

Definitely a surprise for me. Me and my boyfriend didn't do anything to prevent it, its just we went so long without getting me pregnant I didn't think I could at first. But it took me off guard that's for sure!
Im 20 and my partners 29. We tried for 18 months and after having a mc we concieved a month after. Were expecring our first and a little boy on march 17th 2013.
Im 20yrs old and also 20weeks and the dad is 30yrs old. My pregnancy was planned just not expected to happen as fast as it did.
Mine was an oops. Me and my bf had been together for 6 months when we found out i was pregnant. Hes 20 and ill be 22 in feb...we couldnt be happier! Im now 26w5d and cant wait to meet my little man!!

I'm 24 far from a baby he is 27 we don't believe in planning we believe in letting god do his work but we did want a boy after my baby girl was born 3 years ago now I'm pregnant with twins one boy one girl and we can jump for joy we are so excited that we have been so blessed with our "unplanned" pregnancy

Well this is the 18-24 pregnancy forum. I'm only 18, but me and my fiancee' have been together for 4 years. We started dating in 9th grade and never stopped. His mom ended up abandoning him and my mom took him in only 4 months after we started dating and we have lived together since. We moved out on our own at 17 and are more in love than anyone else we know. We didn't plan for this to happen because we're so young, but we are very happy about it and ready to welcome our little girl into this world. 22 days left. <3
Im 17 my bf 18 my little angel is going to be 3weeks at 1pm he wasent prevented I kinda knew somthing big was going to happen that months but I didnt know what. Wen I found out got extra classes worked hard and graduated early and im happy to be his.mommy <3
Im 25 and my husband is 27. I went off bc last december we conceived in june which resulted in a miscarriage. We found out that was due to my blood type of A- and my husband being O+. I got a rh shot to prevent my body from rejecting thr baby again. The doc said to wait two months after that. We got pregnant again at the beginning of September. I am due June 4th.

Im 34 my husband is 35. My boys are 8, 13 & 16 & all of them where planned. Me & my husband was together 10 yrs before we got married & have been married for 9 years & im 23 weeks 2 days & this will be our first little girl due on our 10th wedding anniversary.....wht a wonderful gift couldnt ask for anything more.
My hubby and I are both 23 soon to be 24 almost married for 3 years, been together for 4 years but have known each other since 8th grade lol. This is our second pregnancy, we already have a 2 year old son and both pregnancies were planned!

I'm 19, my boyfriend Is 21. Ours was unexpected. We've been together for almost 3 years (Feb. will be 3 years) but I was on BC for awhile and then got off of It due to a lot of reasons... we had unprotected sex since I got off of the BC and we were very "lucky" for awhile usin' the pull out method until my son decided he wanted to be made. But we are very happy with the outcome and I can't wait to meet my son and have him In my arms!
