DRINKING TOO MUCH WATER.

Hi girls, im 4-5 weeks pregnant for the last 5 days i have got a thing for strawberry volvic i mean im drinking anything between 2-3 L a day. Is that too much i have to go everywhere with a bottle. The only thing that is happening is i on the loo all the time. I dont normaly drink hardly anything. Have i got a craving?

I agree with evthing4reason. Thirst is a common symptom for diabetes. You may have gestational diabetes. Don't freak out though! Just get checked out and if you have it it is easily manageable and goes away after birth. My cousin had it with both of her kids and she's fine now and her kids are wonderful and healthy! Good luck!

usually pregnancy cravings haven't kicked in at this point. Watch it though, excessive thirst is the first sign of diabetes, if you find you are still drinking this much bring it up tot he dr

Thanks, now im a bit worried i dont want to lose my minerals. i've had 4 m/c i dont want to do anything that may harm my baby. I just cant stop!!

Maybe its a craving.  I think that you should keep in mind that hydrating is great but it also makes you pee out most of the minerals and electrolytes in your blood, so drink up to 2 L's a day but make sure that you are eating a balanced diet regualrly so you maintain your minerals.
