I got some with my twin boys, but luckily enough I didn't get very many, and they faded afterwards pretty nicely, especially after using the tanning bed they faded quickly, and as for the loose saggy belly skin, I didn't have that problem...Well right after my twins were born yes I didn't have the big baby bump still I had loose skin, but within a week it went away, and then I started going to the gym and it went away REAL fast. So I guess I can't complain too much. Luckily this time around I haven't gotten any new stretch marks which is nice.
The last two weeks of pregnancy ruined me. I was all good until that point! Also breastfeeding gave me stretch marks.
i have 3, 1 inch stretch marks on my hip! but fortunately i used Palmer's stretch mark cream on them so they are barely noticeable except to me since they are on my body.. LOL!!
Yes I got really bad ones on my belly. I had none till I was about 35-38 weeks pregnant then it just covered my belly. I used coco butter up till then but then got lazy should kept up with it maybe. Think would happen even if I did cause my stomach got so stretched out. All I put on was eight pounds all together lol And that was him So he just stretched me. ( I had bad morning sickness first few months lost 15 pounds gained that back plus eight pounds)
i voted yes, but i didn't get the stretch marks on my tummy in any of my pregnancies. i got some on my breasts and on the back of my hips and on the back of my thighs during my first pregnancy, but did not get new ones after that. i guess my skin has good elasticity or something, lol!!!
proudly...no. I did not get any stretch mark only linea nigra... I apply palmers cream twice a day.
I practically bathed in palmers cocobutter during my entire pregnancy without a stretch mark to be seen. Low and behold AFTER the birth - there they were!!!!!!!! Under my bellybutton one on each side!! Ughh, just knew I couldn't get away without getting any!!!
i am COVERED in stretchmarks. i got most of them from my first pregnancy. i really didnt think that is was possible to get any more... i was wrong.lol i have them on my boobs, on my upper arms by my armpits, between my legs, and of course.... all over my stomach. i look like i was attacked by some animal with nasty claws!! but its all worth it for my kids.
No stretch marks but I used the belly cream stuff from the moment I had a hpt. Not sure if that was the reason but I will stick to it anyway. Genetics were not on my side... my mom had 6 kids and boy did we do some damage!! She loves us anyway!!
Babydreams9 - that little one was not so little. 11 lbs. 1 oz - what healthy baby - you are so lucky.
I would gladly take stretch marks if it meant I could have another little one...
Ugh, I agree that the saggy belly skin is the worst. DS thinks it is funny to lift my shirt up and smack it. Stretchmarks I can live with but the flap I cannot.
My baby weighed 11 lbs. 1 oz at birth.... it would have been a miracle to have no stretch marks!! Alas, I have a TON of them. I started getting them at 30 weeks.
Oh I thought of something that I have heard a bunch of guys have said.. Most guys really like the stretchmarks because it's like "battle wounds" ahaha This one guy told me, it just tells a lot about to woman and her kids! :) So that's a positive side to look at it, I suppose!
I also thought I wasn't going to get any but then around 8 months I got them. Now I have saggy belly skin and stretchmarks. Lovely!
I did get them with my first (she is 10 now) But I carried her SOOO low that the stretch marks are REALLY LOW thank god and can be covered mostly with panties or a bikini..... so there not too bad.... So far i havent gotten any more or the ones i have havent gotten any worse yet (22 weeks) But I still have a bit to go with this pregnancy so we will see LOL
I didn't have any until my last month of pregnancy. They aren't that bad though. I hate my saggy loose belly skin more.
i am 18wks4days with my 3rd pregnancy and i still haven't gotten any strechmarks anywhere. i thought for sure that i would get them when i was pregnant with my daughter because i got so big and i can't stand lotion but somehow i manage not too so there is hope!!
i rmember when i was pregnant with my first and my sil was pregnant with her 3rd we were compairing strech marks when my mil sayes what are strech marks my sil looked like she could have killed her lol my mil had 6 kids and not one strech mark
When I was pregnant with my son 4 years ago, I had stretchmarks below my belly button and thought that was AWEFUL! Then 2 years ago I got pregnant for twins and I DEF got worse stretchmarks and WELL above my belly button....so I'm hoping for this pregnancy i don't get anymore. LOL Well see next month though...LOL
I got them when I was in junior high - when I hit puberty on my hips (I didn't get fat - just got my hips really fast). So it is no surpirse I have them while being pregnant. I got some on my boobs, and sides of my stomach and front of my stomach - but after time, they do fade like Joy said to a flesh color almost.
My belly (especially lower) at 29 weeks (now) looks like Freddy Kreuger got at me.. =(
It's disgusting and I use Palmer's and various lotions several times daily and it doesn't seem to help. I keep getting more..
I didn't get any until I was 8 months preggers, I thought for sure that I beat genetics, no luck. I too look like a tiger and it is disgusting, yes they did fade but they are still very noticeable. I am seriously considering plastic surgery when I am done having kids. My mom did it and she is much happier with her body now.
I am 23 1/2 weeks pregnant and don't have any! But, my mom had 3 kids (and my brother was a 10 pounder!) and she didn't get a single one.
Like someone said, you can help prevent them by gaining weight steadily, eating right, and working out. All things... IN THEORY, we should do anyway! (But, I can't say I do the last two consistently! hahaha) Doctors say genetics is really what determines if you will get them, though :)
it is sooo great i don't even have one single stretch mark and am 26weeks 1 days pregnant ...My mom had 6 and she never had one ..i guess am genetically lucky
I got them on my sides, my bum, my thighs and especially my breasts. I guess that will happen when you go from a size 34d to a 34 E inside of a month (that was before I got my milk)! Luckily I still don't have any on my tummy, and this is my second pregnancy.
