Discharge

I know I just posted, but I need help with this also.
Warning: TMI ahead.
I've been having a mucus-like discharge for a few weeks. It's kinda like what it looks like whenever you're losing small pieces of your mucus plug. Well, it's clear and doesn't have any colour to it at all. Ive also been cramping since I got pregnant. I'm honestly not sure what it is exactly and I'm scaring myself with thinking the worst. I don't want to go to the doctor, because I don't want to be sent away with them telling me it's all normal, but my husband is insisting I go.
I'm 9 weeks, by the way.

It could be an infection, I highly doubt you have to worry about a mucus plug right now being so early on, clear stretchy snotty looking discharge can be normal. I've had what looks like EWCM only a whitish cloud to it and that's normal, however cramping and odd discharge can definitely be an infection of some sort and it doesn't sound like it's anything to worry about or worry about the baby for. However, if an infection, especially bladder infection, gets bad enough it can cause problems so better safe than sorry. Just call and say you're having an abnormal discharge, always better safe than sorry!
