Do you get drug tested at pregnancy appointments?

I was curious if OBGYN offices drug test pregnant women. I don't do drugs only worried because my boyfriend smokes pot around me a lot!

God listen to some of you women! LillyJilly don't listen to half of these women. I swear some people are just out to scare you throughout your whole pregnancy. Passive smoking does not show up on drugs tests! I love the smell of cigarette smoke and pot as a weird smell craving I'm having during pregnancy. It doesn't mean I sit there a breath it in I just like to be around the smell!
Some women really need to get a grip! Pregnancy is scary enough without people telling you complete s**t

Second hand smoke for anyone or any smoke is bad... My bf smokes pot too don't be afraid to stick up for u too and tell him to smoke out of room in venaladed area ... Just this weekend I'm 32 weeks he asked me to stand out in the snow while he smokes in the car I said hell no u can stand out here I'm pregnant he opens the door it didn't help... Ull start to hate that smell... BTW no they normaly don't check ..sometimes won't show up either ..don't let him smoke around u

It's. Just smart not to smoke around pregnant women some. People don't care about health of there baby's My husband don't smoke pot but cigarette but he go out side for our baby sake

Lol not worst senerio if you test positive they will just do home inspection. It could have mental defects on the child. You should be thinking about your child first.

My doctor told me they will pretty much only drug test those who they feel they need to.

Wow.. They wont test you unless you give them a reason or you looked f### up. And they have to tell you if they are going to test for thc. Its a completely different test.

U cannot test positive BC he cums in u..nor will u have THC in or system if he stands next to u..u have to inhale it..and when he exhales 50% of the THC stays in his system. I was on probation for a little while (young n dumb) n my probation officer informed me that THC showing up in a UA from second hand smoke is nearly impossible. He would have to smoke an ounce with u in an enclosed area like a vehicle. Doctors do drug test, like I think they should, and as long as or not puffing on it u have nothing to worry bout hun

You definitely will NOT test positive if he comes in you. My dr doesn't drug test but I'm sure you'll be fine

Rite *** amd pee doea not go out nor in the same hole so idk what shes talking about honestly if your worried go to a store any store dollar tree ..walmart..walgreens and by a drug test that test for marjuana cause my hubby smokes around me and ive never failed a test

That is absolutely not true. ^^ You will not test positve if he cums in you.  My boyfriend and I have been together 6 years and he's an everyday smoker and I have never failed any drug test.

I get drug tested because that's the standard for pregnant women, and they should! If he cums in you, you will test positive.

I don't think it's possible to test positive because someone smoked it around you. Maybe it is but my boyfriend does and always has smoked around me and I've never failed any kind of drug test. Just make sure you're in a ventilated area. I don't think it has the same harmful chemicals as cigarette smoke obviously but just to be cautious. Lol.

So does mine. Worst case scenario if you or baby test positive at birth and it's just weed I believe CPS is contacted and would interview you and check out your house. Don't stress mama.

Everytime you go when you pee in cup they check for protein and drug use. Id stay away from him while doing that. Can be bad for baby.
