I chose the "no different, just pregnant" choice. I've always had issues with acne, so even in the pregnancy I've had some. Granted, I don't look like a pock-marked teenager, but I've gotten a few here and there.
My hair was full and thick to begin with before preggo hormones got at it. When it's freshly washed, it's soft and silky ...tho I really need an inch cut off the ends to get rid of my split ends! lol
And, lastly, the preggo belly. I've gained about 30-35 lbs ... I have a bit of the chubby face going on and my belly seriously does not look like a 9 month belly to me (in comparison to other women I've seen). I think because I'm 5'10" that I "hide" it well, or something. >.>
None of the above. I just gained a lot of weight 60 pounds and my face, legs and feet just got huge. All the gain seemed to go everywhere else but my stomach.
LOL I feel huge but havent really gained too much weight.... my hair seems to have gotten OILEY now and oh lord my face is breaking out like I was in high school and its seems to be tons more oiley too..... I feel gross....But most people say that I look the same... just got a belly now... Oh I am having a boy, I would definitely say I looked better Pre Preggo!
Umm..
I look like sh!t pregnant.. Bad skin, bad hair, huge weight gain...
It does not flatter me AT ALL!! =(
everyone says i look good but i think they are trying to be nice...i think i look the same just a ton fatter. i gained a lot of weight, and none of it went to my small boobs! go figure.
i feel like i am huge but i guess we all feel that way once we hit 29 weeks in pregnancy. everyone else around me tell sme that pregnancy was meant for me and i honestly want to punch them. they say i am all belly and my skin is glowign and my hair is so shiny. Well if i am all belly, then why has my butt spread and my hips are the size of elephants?
it is funny others perceptions compared to your own.
well im having a boy and i look like **** my face has broken out my hair is thick but frizzy and my face looks like i just dipped it in grease lol
i havent gained any weight through this pregnancy i have actually lost 8lbs but my other to pregnancies i gained so much weight so im lucky this time i havent gained anything yet
BOY i gained so much weight...i cant even believe it. I know that i'll be able to lose it after baby and my hubby is willing to help me because he knows that i am very self concious. I cant believe how much weight i have gained. But thats not that much to me its my face, i had such good skin. And then around 15 weeks or so my face just looked like i was in high school again. EEKKK!! I hate it i never wanted to go back to that, but honestly i dont care because we're getting a beautiful baby girl out of this and would do it again in a heart beat (and plan on trying for number 2 when het gets home).
Ha ha! Well I should change my answer to say--- pregnancy doesn't LEAVE ME looking good. I gained 50 lbs and still haven't shed it. So hubby and I are working out (I wrote a journal post about our competition) and it's coming off slowly but surely!
Yeah I really look better when I'm not pregnant. After I had my daughter I started to look good again, with the added bonus of bigger boobies because I breastfed for about 8 months. I like being pregnant, but I do have to say I look way better when I'm not pregnant. I gain all of my weight in the hips, butt and thighs...but I lost it easy after I had my daughter, so it's not that bad for me.
I had two girls and I was one hot pregnant lady both times.
My looks have gone to the gutter!! My hubby thinks that i am still just as gorgeous as the first time he met me even more, but i have horrible acne (ALL OVER) and my skin is dry and itchy, my hair has grown which i like but is very thin compared to before. I do have a cute little belly i have to admit. But other then that ive gone to ****! LOL. I pary that this will all go away after i give birth..only 6 weeks 4 days till shes out of me.
I'm not too pregnant (only 7 weeks) BUT my hair and skin is ultra greasy. :(
And I'm already gainning weight.
hi there!! when i was pregnant with my daughter... i felt beautiful!! my hair was soooo healthy, my skin was perfect.. i was glowing. when i got pregnant with my son 4 years later it was the same... i was glowing, skin was great... hair was awesome too!
Everyone tells me that I look good etc. etc. etc. HOWEVER my chin is sooo broken out constantly! AND when my pimples are 'gone' I have these red spots from where they were so it looks worse than it really is....ugh! I am having a boy and from the old wives tale, I thought for sure I am having a girl because something is stealing my good looks lol
We are having a boy. And for the first 10 weeks I only wanted salty food (which they say for boy). Now, I want sweets! So, that old wives tale didn't work. The other one, "little girls steal beauty"...well I look like an adolescent teenager. I have breakouts all over my chin area that I didn't have before pregnancy. As for my hair, it's as thick before pregnancy but a lot more frizzier now...
I'm having a little girl, so the old wives tale works for me. I sure do look better not pregnant than I do pregnant. DH still says he loves me an I look great, but my hair is flat and stringy and my normaly clear face is not!
