Does this look like a faint +?

Hey ladies,
Did you all have a nice weekend? Well I sent my DH to get me another test. I told him not to get the Equate brand because of some of things I had read on other posts. So he went to one of the pharmacies and got the off brand. I am posting a picture of one taken last night. What do you ladies think? I told yall that I was nursing and haven't had any cycles, but I made love to my DH on May the 4th. Any feed back would be appreciated.

I would use an e.p.t. digital, they are supposed to be the most sensitive OTC.  My lines looked like evaps but the digital took the guessing out of it.

I saw your pics and it looks like a positive to me but, if it look that way bc you waited 2 hours after you took it... i dont know.. this is why they say dont read after 10 min. bc it could be and evap line or just your urine drying on the space for a positive. I had to wait 2 weeks after my missed AF for a positive to show up! trust me when I say i know what your going through with waiting!

Why not get a didgital? I know they are a bit more expensive, but for the price you're paying on these tests it more than covers it. And theres no hastle of a line. its either "pregnant" or "not pregnant" and these days the new ones give you 2 and tell you how many weeks. Course i'd wait for your missed period first, even if it says up to 3 days sooner. Just in case.

Guys I know you really want to know bad but try being patient and waiting a few days.
These look like evap lines. I know you want sooo much for them to be postive, but just try to relax and give it 2-3 days and test again. Mine took a good 7 days after my missed period to start showing up. I tested a day after missed period, negivitve, then 4 days later, neg. 3 days after, faint line. Next morning, faint line. Then got a clearblue digital, pregnant.
I know you are eager to find out but give it a few days, if you are pregnant wouldn't you rather wait and be sure and see a nice solid line?? Or waiste soooo much money on faint lines that could be evap lines?? Are you testing in the correct time frame?? Be patient, I got negitave for a whole week. Missing your period is definatly a sign if you are regular.

I just posted a picture of the 2nd test. It is darker and only after 2hrs and there is a line of blue on the edge. I may go and buy a FRER tonight to try in the morning, if the blood test comes back neg. I was just shocked that 2hrs later it was darker, I really expected it to be lighter. I still have one more of these left because it came 3 to a box. So if neg blood test I may wait till Wed. Best of luck to you

It may or may not be positive. You could have just implanted on Saturday, and the hormones started cranking out, and you're getting your bfp, thus making a negative result on Friday, so there could still be hope! That is awesome that yours got darker, sounds like a bfp to me! I'm going to take mine here in a little but again after holding my pee, and see what mine says. I can't wait to see your second pic, and more so can't wait to hear your quant results!! =)

Ok ladies I took the 2nd one with 2ndMU at 11am and it actually has a line on the edge that is distinctly blue. My question is if I had a positive with equate this morning. Would a blood test taken Fri morning come out positive? How sensitive are the equate brands. I thought it was like 25 level HCG, does any one know? When the batteries finish charging for my camera then I will post just a picture of the 2nd test. Thanks

I can't see a line but I have never used this test so I have no clue what to look for or where to look:) Hope it's a positive...good luck!!!!!

I'm soooo happy you posted this. I JUST went and bought these as I've heard really good things about them. I've heard bad things about the blue dye tests but apparently the equate brand has a good rep. Your test looks EXACTLY like mine. So either we're both getting evaps, or we're both pregnant. I can see mine sitting in my chair and the test is tilted away from and the line is visible. They for whatever reason don't show up well on camera, but I can definitely see your line! Have you tested with anything else? I've been getting verrrrrrry faint lines on FRER 6 days, and Answer, they're so light they look like little shadow lines.

Try again in a few weeks, or get a blood test, remeber you CAN have false negative results :)  good luck x

I looked at your pics and I really don't see a line in any of them....But maybe it has to do with the picture, maybe it's easier to see in person....Good Luck!!

I don't see anything but the control line on my end.  In my experience I have never had a problem with the equate brand. I've always had very accurate results.  You could try taking another test like a FRER or CBD?

I posted a new picture on my profile. The top one is the first one I took. The bottom is one I just took with 2nd MU. To me the second one appears to be darker than the first? What do you ladies think?

I took the same type of test about 2 weeks ago. And the first two from the box came back with a very faint positive. Then 2 days later I took the last one in the box and it was neg. I had a blood test the same day and it was neg. I then didn't take another one till Fri. and that was the one I posted then. I did make love to my DH on May 4th so that was 13 days ago. So this positive could actually be a true positive. I had more blood drawn last Fri. and I am supposed to get the results today. I think I will wait and test again on Wed. and if it comes back darker than I will have blood drawn again. Unless this last one blood draw comes back positive and I will have to go in again any way. This not having any dates to go by due to nursing is kind of a pain. LOL!!  I think the lady blew my vein last time because I have this horrible knot and really ugly bruise.

im sorry i dont see the line...i would wait a few days and test again....the test should be dark and tell-tale by then...its so hard to say its a positve when there is no def line there...best of luck to you

I definitely see a faint line, but the blue dye tests are notoriously bad for evaps and whatnot. I never had a problem with the blue dye tests but I've heard bad things...I do see a line though.
