Does when in the month you have sex change your chances of getting pregnant?

I have been wondering if when in the month you have sex can affect your chance of getting pregnant. Like if you have sex right before your period, are you more likely to get pregnant than if you do right after?

I see. I'd suggest getting on a higher dosage of birth control. Sperm can live up to 5 days. So theoretically you shouldn't have sex for 11 days of your cycle.

I definitely do not want to get pregnant! I am asking so that I can make sure that doesn't happen :) sorry about the confusion there.

Please don't try to get pregnant at 15 years old. Haven't you ever seen 16 and pregnant? The outcome is never favorable.

Its generally 10 to 14 days after the first day of your last period. For example: if you have your period the 1st then the 10th to the 14th is when you'll start ovulating. That depends, though, on what cycle your on. Like a 28day cycle or whatever. What you should do is try to remember when you started your last two periods then Google ovulation calander. It'll help SO much!

You have to be ovulating to get pregnant.. which is around 2 weeks after the first day of your period. Everybody's cycle is different so it just depends I guess.
