Does your hosp?

hey just wanted to know if your hosp. plays mucis every time a baby is born. I just though it was the cools thing. Were i had my son it did. But Im going to a different hosp. this time and I dont think they do.

They did that at both hospitals I have delivered at.

at the hospital i gave birth to my daughter and son, they play music when the baby is born.

one of ours plays some type of music and the other rings a bell! :)

At the hospital where I work they play the lollybye song when a baby is born. Hope I spelled that right

The hospital that I deliver at allows the husband to ring a an acutal bell that send chimes through the hospital telling you a baby is born. It's probaly one of the coolest things about the delivery is watching my proud hubby pull that cord.

Hey, they did it at my hopsital but i never got to hit the button when I was discharged because I had a intern dr and she didnt know what it was, and knew nothing about it!  it really made me mad, plus the fact that they never told me when I was going home...they just kind of shoved me out at the 3rd day and I was like Oh wow! I wasn't quite ready for that lOL.  but we'll see how this pg goes...maybe I'll get to hit the button this time!! :-)

No, the hosp plays the music for you because you just gave birth, so people in the hosp can hear the music and know that someone just gave birth there.

My hospital's policy was that you could bring your own music player and play your own music during labor and birth.

Take a tour of the new hospital you'll be going to (so you know where everything is) and so you know what they have to offer!

That's sound neat, but honestly do not remember with either one of my girls.  I want that! lol!

At the hospital that I will be having my baby they do play music when the baby is birn. They play Rock a Bye Baby

My hospital plays music when discharged, its cool, I had my daughter at a different hospital and they didnt play anything, but with my son I got the music when we were discharged.
