Down syndrome?

I'm 19 years old. I had a nt scanning done at 14 weeks and they said I was high risk of having a baby with Down syndrome. So they did a blood test and it came back positive for Down syndrome. I'm very sad about this but I have hear stories where people get flase positive test so can that be my case. Has anyone else been through this ?

It's said that with those test they give more false positives then actually being positives. There is definitely still a good chance your baby is just fine. This is my 33rd pregnancy an I've passed on those tests every time an my Dr always agree no reason to do it I'm young an healthy an they give way to many false pos.   Hang in there
