Thats good, tho i dont fancy paying the hospital car park fees for first time in labour lol my friend said her insurance recommended her stopping at 37 weeks but when i got my new car n told the insurance i was pregnant they didnt say anything so i left it at that! I think ill keep driving as long as i dont get too big to fit behind the wheel lol as my bf doesnt drive!!
Not at all, I drove my entire pregnancy last time, and will this time. I drove myself to the hospital in active labor because my husband was working last time, haha! Unless it's not tolerable and you can't focus properly, don't worry about it. Even if your water breaks in the car, it's not a big deal (besides the mess you'll have to clean), your water breaking won't mean baby is coming within 5 minutes, but it does mean you're having your baby very soon (could still mean a day or days) and you will probably start getting stronger contractions, even if you start getting those, they'll take a while to get close together and regular/strong, but it's not like your baby is coming right that second, you can drive! :)
I was wondering the same too. Do we hav to stop legally also or is it legal to drive til the end and stopping is upto preference?
