Dying Hair

I will be 11 weeks on Sunday. I have been feeling really crappy lately about how I look and really need to dye my roots. I am going with the closest colour to my natural hair colour I can find in hopes I won't have to dye my hair again.(You can tell I am canadian because we spell colour diffrently lol)  Is it safe? I don't want to do anything to hurt baby but I have read mixed reviews on if it is safe or not. What is everyones opinion?

you want to wait until your in your second trimester then do it in a well ventilated area

Using box color while pregnant is not good. It has ammonium in it. I'm a hairstylist& professional color at the salon is good, but NOT box color at home

Thank you everyone. I went ahead with it. I am thinking if I have to do it again I will go with.an amonia free one.

I asked my midwife today and she said its fine and not to worry at all!

Ask your doctor when the safest time is. I want to get my hair highlighted for the summer but dont wanna mess with the upkeep lol my hair has started growing like crazy id have to get it redone every week or 2 lol

I've dyed mine since week 5 of this pregnancy. My baby boy is healthy. It's safe! Like others have said, well ventilated area only..

I was told to wait until 14 weeks....ask your doc

Its safe as long as you are in a well ventilated area. However it might not take well because of all the hormones in your body

Yeah it's safe as long as you are in a well ventilated area where you wont be inhaling a lot of fumes. I have been dying my hair this whole pregnancy.
