ELEVATED ESR

I HAVE HAD AN ESR DONT TWICE AND BOTH TIMES THE TEST CAME OUT HIGH. I WAS 42 THE FIRST TIME TOOK MEDS AND AND NOW IT WAS A 34. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? i KNOW THAT THE REGULAR RANGE IS UNDER 20.

i am a certified  medical assistant and that means that you dont  have anemia  because the cells would read low. not high i would chech with my pcp. and that isnt a normal range for a women. it is between . erythrocyte sedimentation rate. she doesnt have an infection. the esr deals with the red blood cells.

If am not mistaken it means either you have an infection or something is not right.  I just earn my AOS in Medical Assissting.  If you are anemia i believe that is normal.
