EPO (Evening Primrose Oil)

I have read somewhere that taking EPO helps to alleviate premenstrual syndrome symptoms and aids in the production of fertile quality cervical fluid.  Has anyone taking this and found it to be true? Someone had recommended it to me. I noticed that i do not get much ewcm. And with this supplement, it can help produce more cm. Maybe that is one of the reason's why i cannot conceive. I m/c on 9/29, and have been having trouble since. I chart my BBT, Cm, and Cp and still nothing. I am just looking for natural ways to help increase fertility. I miscarried for a reason and would do anything to prevent it from happening again.  Not sure if there is much to do, i know it is all left in Gods hands, but its nice to know i could be helping it along.  just figure may i haven't gotten preggo yet is because the sperm is not swimming in enough cm, and so it has less chances to reach the egg. Just taking a wild guess here.  Or maybe i do not have enough progesterone. Which deep down i think may be one of my other problems. Ever since the m/c i have very strong pms, even a week before af is due.  And my luteal phase varies every cycle. Sometimes its 10 days and others is 14.  Which is a big difference. And i know you cant even support a pregnancy with such a short phase.  I am going to see my OB in two weeks, so i will mention all of this to him. Just wanted to get your thoughts.

Hiya the health shop i use maybe a bit far away for you.i  live in the uk.but im sure you would be able to purchase it at any health store,if not try ebay.guaifensin is available at any chemist or supermarket, its a medicine for chesty coughs.you dont need a prescription.as long as the label just say guaifenesin with no letters before it then its fine, ask in your chemist.i found all these thing helped me,im now playing the waiting game.good luck to you.

Hi there i used to take everning primrose oil,it can be used for pms, however like any other natural remedys etc, stop taking it once you have ovulated.you may want to try a natural progesterone cream, you can buy it from any health shop,i use serentiy cream.twice a day,4 days past ovulation.i bought it off ebay, not as strong as supplements from drs but will help.you can also take vitamin b6 this helps with your luteal phase, and a medicine called guaifenesin, this loosens mucas both cervical and other,i must say its really good, dont taste nice but does improve cm.take 2 teaspoons twice a day.

I have never heard of it being used as a fertility treatment before:(  So I guess I cant really help you , but I did want to let you know that my doctor told me about it for inducing labor:) You are supposed to put it on your cervix once a day and it did something to help ripin your cervix. I took it orally every nite and it worked great!  But it should have the same effect even if your not pregnant yet:)
