Early miscarriage six weeks ago and still no period..

Okay...I had a very early miscarriage six weeks ago. It was a natural miscarriage I didnt need a D&C. My problem is I still haven't seen my period yet. My breasts are sore and I'm tired once again. All the time...
This was my third miscarriage.
I have had sex with my husband quite a few times. Could I have gotten pregnant so quickly after having a miscarriage?
I'm confused. After my last early miscarriage my period came right on time the next month. :-(
Please share you're stories. I'm really confused..and really broken down.
All my husband and I want is a perfect little child...

I actually just started about an hour ago. I suppose it just took my body a little longer to recover from this one than it did in february.
I think the doctors say it can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks, but I'm not really sure. I suppose it has to do with how far along you were. It may take you a little longer.
I guess it is better this way..at least if i get pregnant after this cycle then I'll know exactly when my due date is...good luck to you..I hope you are pregnant! :-)

Yes, it was my first.  It was pretty painful, but hubby and I are doing great now.  If anything, we're closer.  We were nearly 9 weeks and had seen the heartbeat, received baby clothes from family and friends.  It's tough.

I wish you the best!  If my P doesn't come in another 2 weeks, I'm taking a test.  I hope so, too... but I'm just not sure about how my body is supposed to be recovering.

Hopefully you'd have a P 8 weeks after a miscarriage, right?

I only bled like a normal period for four days...and then about three days after that when the cyst broke up, but none since then..

I thought after i posted this message last night that I was about to start but i woke up this morning and nothing at all... so...maybe I did get pregnant again...I hope soo...

Good luck with you! I'm very sorry to hear that you also miscarried...was it your first?

I'm also 6 weeks after my miscarriage today and no period.  I guess it's normal?

Also, I bled for 3 1/2 weeks straight after the miscarriage.  Then stopped for 2 days, then bled black sludge with a fever.  It seems to be okay now -- I'm feeling better, but I'm not sure what any of this was.

I'm not even feeling like a period is coming.  Blech - I'd love to TTC if I could get my friggin P.

She said that she believes that I was pregnant and miscarried the week before when I bled. She said the cyst was common during pregnancy and can continue producing the hormone until it shrinks...
Yeah I am RH-...And I think you are right. I mean...No one will give me any straight answers. My husband and I are in the middle of a move from our hometown to south la. He's stationed at fort polk. So I dont want to get involved with a specialist here. I just hope there is someone down there that can help me.
But I am really scared that I've gotten pregnant again without knowing what is going on.
I believe in my heart that all of my miscarriages are due to either progesterone or the Rh incompatiblilty but no one will tell give me a straight answer.
Thank you so much for talking with me about out. It's a shame that people i barely know can give me information and the doctors just tell me they dont know. It pisses me off..lol..sorry for my soap box..ive been let down a lot the past year and a half...
Btw..i was rude last night..i'm very sorry for your losses as well. I do understand how y0u fell.
My first miscarriage I went for a routine ultrasound and there was no heartbeat. My doctor sent me straight to the hospital and induced my labor at 17 weeks..I gave birth to a stillborn 28 hours later. It was the worst week of my life. We burried Ethan two days later..and it's been a very bumpy road since then.

Well, 107 would mean that you were pregnant.  Anything above 5 is considered pregnant.  Has your doctor done an ultrasound to see if everything came out (I know that sounds terrible)?  So, your doctor doesn't think you were pregnant, she thinks that the cyst is what was producing hCG and causing a HPT to show +?

What is your doctor saying about your situation?  When you say "negative blood type", do you mean you are Rh-?  If you are Rh-, then I am under the impression that you should be giving yourself shots during pregnancy.

If you think that you could have a progesterone issue, then your doctor can do a blood test starting on CD2 of your next cycle.  When I went to the fertility specialist he thought that I could possibly have low progesterone and told me to get my blood drawn on CD2 for the test.  I never was able to get the test done because I became pregnant that cycle, but my OB put me on oral progesterone from week 10, ending on week 13.  But, just so you know, there are absolutely no studies showing that progesterone supplements will prevent a pregnancy from miscarrying.

I think you should have in an depth conversation with your doctor... I would have a TON of questions if I were in your situation ;(

My doctor actually didnt monitor my levels at all after she told me i miscarried...See my situation this time was really weird..I actually miscarried the week before I took my pregnancy tests. She said I had a cyst on my ovary that was producing the hcg levels.
Which really confused and upset me.
I have a negative blood type and I bled through all three lost pregnacies. I dont really know whats going on. I honestly think it's due to progesterone.
But I did take a test about two weeks after the miscarriage and they were both negative. So I'm assuming my levels are back to normal. The last time they were checked the wer at 107...so..I dunno..I hope i am still pregnant I just dont want to get my hopes up..

Well, I am sorry to hear that was your 3rd loss.  A few things... did your doctor monitor your hCG levels after you miscarried to make sure they went down to 0?  Were you given any suggestions as to how long to wait to TTC again?  You could be pregnant again.  Or your body might still be adjusting.

After my natural miscarriage (2nd miscarriage though) I was told to wait 6 weeks before TTC.  (I did listen to my doctor and now I am in my 21st week of pregnancy.)  I miscarried that pregnancy naturally at 6w4d in March of this year.  My period didn't come for a little over 6 weeks that time.  I miscarried during my 15th week in Nov. 07, and needed a D & C.  My period didn't arrive until a little over 8 weeks after the procedure.  But, each time my hCG levels were closely monitored until they went down to 0.  I was also told to use protection for 3 months after the D & C, and 6 weeks after my natural miscarriage.

I can't imagine how you are feeling after 3 miscarriages... I know how beat down my husband and I both felt after 2.  I went to see a fertility specialist after my 2nd loss.  Has your doctor suggested this to you?  Even if he/she hasn't, I would make an appt.  Most insurances won't cover it, but they are so used to that they offer payment plans if you are unable to pay for testing up front.
