Eeeeek!!!

Okay so the countdown is ON! 3 more days to testing. I just wanted to share something that has made me feel favorable about taking a test. I've heard animals can sense things so we're going to put that to the test as well!

My Siamese was a lovebug and very social... until we brought in a stray cat and a rescued dog. Now he's been hiding and a lot quieter, especially around me. I was his momma and he'd always cuddle with me and purr right in my face. It has been MONTHS since he's done that. So I don't know if he's been mad at me and finally coming around or if he senses something but all day and tonight he's been all over me. It's such a 180 in behavior that at first it shocked me and then I thought, "Maybe he senses something?!"

Ah, well, we'll find out in a few more days! I could be pregnant or he's just finally coming back around to me. Eek, so excited to test!!!

hope you get your BFP and that your theory on pets is right - they do seem to be able to sense things a lot earlier than humans and can be very intune with their owners and loved ones emotions. (My dog knew when I had the miscarriage and would sit with me and was very watchful of me).  Good luck and I hope things go well on Friday - can't believe how good you are being with the testing, I know from the past you are like me and many other women on here and are POAS nuts lol.

Thanks everyone! I did not break down and test. I did go to the store tonight for milk and thought about getting a test but they're waaaaaaaay overpriced at the grocery store (like double what they are at Walmart or Target). Still waiting for October 1st!!!

Good luck and I hope you get that BFP.

My dog was always at my feet when I was pg, he got protective over me. When my 2nd DS was born he was the same way at his bassinet.

I've noticed that animals act strange too. My cat isn't "friendly" at all, she would rather be left alone than sit on a person's lap. When I was pregant she was around me all the time, wanting to sit by me and even lay with me in bed. Since my m/c she again wants nothing to do with me.

My dogs have had the complete opposite of what you are experiencing.  My dogs are always loving and snuggly and they are not by any means lap dogs.  They are medium to large size dogs.  They have always been very affectionate and cuddly and every time I have been pregnant they want NOTHING to do with me.  I took to notice more since we go the second dog two years ago and I've had three miscarriages.  They love on me and I guess they smell the hormonal difference and they started to not love on me and not want me around.  I'd sit by them on the floor they would get up and move.  Now that the miscarriage has happened they are on top of me.  It's weird!  We also have had a new dog come around that is our neighbors and he doesn't want her.  My female dog (Akera) has wanted nothing to do with me since Friday and the closer she gets to DH and I the more Akera wants nothing to do with her.  I'm interested to see how she is going to be when I actually have a baby and she's not the center of attention.

Good luck Joy!!  My dogs acted the same way all lovey and snuggly when I got my BFP :) and I didn't have any symptoms of pregnancy just three snuggly doggies. I bet your theory is right or at least I HOPE your theory is right. Then we will get to be pregnant together :)

Good luck!!!!

its amazing how easy it is to over analyze everything but who knows...i hope you get your BFP

i am torn about trying for #3 or calling it quits....my husband said the choice is mine but he will not be ok with it unless my health is 100% ....ugh

i go back to the doc 10/11 to talk about the possiblity of trying for #3....we'll see

cant wait to hear your results after testing

SSBD!!!!

Thank you everyone! I don't really FEEL pregnant but... I've been pregnant FIVE times (two were miscarriages) and I didn't feel pregnant before I took those tests either. They were always a shock when the two lines appeared. Arg, I wish I had a 2-pack and could test tonight. Maybe I could convince my husband to go pick one up anyway... I'm so impatient. He'll probably make me wait, LOL!

I did feel gaggy the past few days, which is unusual for me. Like cooking dinner tonight (ribs). I was excited about them until I smelled them cooking. Blech! I could nitpick and overthink every little twinge, tingle and feeling so I think I'll stop there so I don't drive myself nuts.

I believe that animals know. BF's parents have a chiwauaua and I couldn't get near her. The week before I found out I was pregnant she was jumping at my feet wanting me to hold her. She had to be in my lap or arms everytime i was there.

My min pin wouldn't come to me either she turned into my dads dog when I went away to college. When I got pregnant she also had to be in my lap everytime I went to my dads.

Good luck Joy! Hope it's positive.

Cervical positions change throughout the day and you would have to get acquainted with your own body's changes in order to determine if what you're experiencing/feeling is normal or not. I hope that makes sense!

I think I ovulated exactly 2 weeks ago today. CD17 on September 13!
