Evening primrose oil?

I know it's kind of late to start it now but I figure it can't hurt to try so I just bought some epo capsules and was wondering how much I should take orally and how much inserted vaginally? I'm due in 4 days and just trying to get my cervix to soften and dilate... I've researched it online but everyone takes different amounts and I don't know where to start!!

Evening primrose oil is supposed to help thin your cervix, which will help you dilate so yes it helps with labor but doesn't actually induce it.

Mommy- I bought the 1000mg tabs so I'm going to take 2 orally a day and two vaginally and hope it does something! I can't believe I still haven't even started dilating and my due dates only 4 days away. My dr said he would have done a membrane sweep today but he couldn't get a finger in there because I'm still 100% closed ): I just want her to come already!

Just read to insert 2 500 mg twice per day until 38 weeks then after that do it 3-4 times per day.
