I loved my exercise ball with my first pregnancy! It helped my back and hip pain and helped me dilate to 4cm by 38 weeks. I sat on it all the time (eat dinner, watch tv, reading a book, work on my scrapbook, etc.). I started using it around 30 weeks. I am now 34+2 with baby #2 and still use it but not as much bc my 20month old son thinks he has to sit on my lap when I try to sit on it :( lol
