I have noticed that too about drs pushing birth control.  My last two OBs acted like that was the solution for everything.  Stupidly I did that once and I had to up my seizure meds because the pills agravated them so bad.  I guess in a way its a good thing I took them, at least I know now that I cant take them period!

I would post this question in the Fertility Forum:

To answer your question- I am so sick of doctors telling women to just take birth control to fix things. It isn't a Bandaid to fix an underlying problem and each woman should be treated uniquely. However doctors just want to prescribe BC pills and "see what happens". If your doctor is too lazy to do some real work in figuring out how to help you then find a new doctor.

Fsh levels can fluctuate every month.  I wouldnt worry too much about it.  I also hear wheat grass can help with it as well.  Good luck.
