I bought the test strips (Clearblue, I think) and they were about $12 for a weeks worth. They worked really well for me, I got pregnant that month. I wasn't fond of temp charting either.
thanks...if we are not pregnant i think i may try one
I also used the clearblue easy fertility monitor and was pregnant the first month using it. We had only tried for 3 months before though....but I found that we were "stopping" too soon before....I was ovulating a full 5 days after what all the online calendars said

this will tell you when to start testing,
Hey girl i also use clearblue fertility monitor.its a little expensive, basically you press button day one of your cycle, each day you switch on first thing it has 3 boxs, low fertility, high, and peak which shows an egg.so each day same time switch it on,till it knows your cycle it will ask prob from day 6 you wee on stick put in monitor it reads and tells you whether you fertile, you need to buy sticks each month, good thing with these monitors it gives you extra fertile days, google check it out clearblue fertility monitor.
I honestly knew nothing about when I ovulated and bought them for the heck of it. Luckily, I ovualted 4 days into the pack....since you don't know when and your cycles are long, you might need another pack or two.
what days are you supposed to use them Everyday or certain week of the month. I have no idea when I ovulate but I do have very long cycles. 41 days last cycle. Last pregnancy I got pregnant while on my period. Do you think I should do them everyday the first month?
