Fetal Hiccups

I am 37 weeks and noticing that baby has hiccups a few times a day almost everyday!  And they last from 10-20 mins Is this normal?  What does it mean?

My son always got the hiccups at night when I was in bed trying to go to sleep!

Lol. How can you sleep with a bouncing stomach?

He would go for 15-30mins...

My midwife told me that babies that hiccup in utero are more likely to hiccup when they come out.

Yep completely normal. Aspen is 6 months and still gets them!

Very normal! Nothing to worry about. My lil guy use to get them 4-5 times a day for at least 15 min. each time. Now  he is 2 1/2 months, and gets them 2-3 times a day.

I feel the same thing and I have to admit that I love it. It happens few times a day.

I agree w/ mama.  Its very normal and a good sign.  Just wait until baby is born and the same thing happens but about 8 times a day, lol!  They dont like it one bit.
