Finding out sex & Pregnancy Tests

Hi everyone!!! Happy holidays!!! Well just wanted to tell you guys that today I go to the doctor for testing to make sure the baby will be ok when she/he is born. I am a little scared I really hope everything turns out ok. Also like few might know my last ob appointment was the 17th of December and my doctor said I would find out the sex of the baby until I was 20 weeks. Well I cant wait that long and many have told me I can know the sex around 16 weeks and above. Well I am 15 weeks today but next week will be 16. I plan to go to another doctor and find out the sex on the 4th of Jan. You guys think is ok to do that??? Also I am 18 years old and havent told my mom about the pregnancy since last time I told her I misscaried the baby. This time I want to make sure everything is ok before telling her the news. The question is I am using the Medicare insurance but for some reason is not covering me anymore. My mom has made the payments and all so I know that isnt the issue. I think they wont cover me anymore becuase I am pregnant. I called to ask but they are always busy and say they will call me back. Why do you think it wont cover????

go ahead and go to the medicaid office and fill  out a apl. thats what they probly will end up telling you anyway. they can not do it over the phone. good luck.

oh ok because I used it before and was 18 and was working well until last week in doesnt work anymore. It might of been because of that and might of been a specific day that it ended. I will wait for their call otherwise I will call again. Thanks!!!  I think I need to fix my insurance before doing more appointments with doctors.

one more thing if it says it covers you till your 18 then it prob stoped on you 18th birthday

im not sure, but around here if your not pregnant you get took off medicaid when your 18 . where you from? when did you turn 18. your time might have expired for that and you might have to go reapply your self as your considered an adult now.

I am not sure which one I have but is called All Kids I believe that is medicaid. I know it covers me until I am 18 which would mean that next year when I am 19 I have to get my own which I will. But lets say I had medicare like I said if I apply for medicaid wont my mom have to take me off her's for me to be able to apply?

hi. congrats of your pregnancy. you need to go apply for medicaid. it covers being pregnant. its about the same as medicare but it covers more. put your foot down and go to the medicaid office if you have to. i know it can be a pain sometimes.
