We found out both times. Hubby and I are planners and we don't like gender neutral colors so we wanted to know. Now we have one if each andbi think the surprise would be fun! Hubby doesn't want to wait though so we will be finding out. We are adding an element of surprise to it by doing a gender cake reveal party. We will have the tech write the gender on a piece of paper and seal it in an envelope which we will give to a baker. The baker will make the cake part blue for a boy or pink for a girl and then frost it in white. At our party we will cut into the cake and find out along with everyone else.
I found out. I wanted to plan her room and get gender specific things. Plus my family was really hoping it would be a boy (we have next to no boys born into my family) while I wanted a girl and we wanted to find out which it would be.
We found out. No big deal, I asked my husband on the way to the ultrasound if he wanted to find out, and he thought a couple of minutes and then casually said "sure," and that was that.
I didn't find out for my daughter, and I won't find out for this one either. I personally enjoy the surprise element!
We never found out until we had the babies. But I like the surprise. However if money is a factor It can help when shopping for the new baby. Ultra sounds are a lot more precise now then they where when i had babys. So it is kinda a choice you need to make. I think it is alot more fun to wait!!
