If you can swallow huge chunks of food then you can swallow a pill that is smaller than a Advil. Anyway, for you to not know the answers to some of these things and you have access to Google, and if you can't swallow a tiny pill, then take it from a mother of 2 pregnant with my 3rd, that you do not need to have sex which =s children! Educate yourself, get a career, go to church , pray everyday! Good luck!
The pill I was on, Ortho TriCyclen Lo, was really tiny, sometimes I took them without water. It may be easier for you to swallow them than you think. It was a reliable form of birth control for me for 6 years - until I stopped taking it to start having children. :-) So, think about the pill if you don't want to go another route, and at least try a month's worth to see if you can swallow it. Like I said, they are really tiny, or at least the brand I used was. I am sure the others can't be much different. Good luck to you and I am glad you are thinking about birth control before engaging in sex if you're not ready for a baby. :-)
Well it prevents it for as long as it's actually used for. You change it once a week for three weeks, and then on week 4 you leave it off. This is when you get your period. As for pills, I've never heard of anyone taking them with food. If you're going to use those, you're going to just have to swallow them, or use something else. You will also have to take them everyday at the same time or they're not effective. Missing them also reduces the effectiveness. For the first week of using the patch you will also have to use condoms so it can become fully effective. For the pills it can take up to a month or more to become fully effective and you'll need to use condoms at all times. If you ever miss any pills or forget the patch, you have to use backup birth control (condoms) for 48 hours or more.
I know their are various of ways to prevent pregnancy lol, I just rather take the pill instead of the other prevention's. But my other option would be the patch, how long does The patch prevent me from getting pregnant and how often do I have to change it?
There are a whole bunch of birth control options that dont involve pills at all. I would suggest going to planned parenthood or seeing your obgyn and having them go over your options.
There are numerous other birth controls other than pills out there as well if you don't want to take them. (or can't) There's the patch, ring, shot, IUD--not recommended if you've not had children-- and also Implanon. Brings back memories...I remember teaching my husband how to use a condom, lol. Anyways. Look through each option and decide what will work best for you. Some of these are long term, such as Implanon, the IUD and the shot so they might work better if you want something longer term that isn't taken daily.
Yes it did leave some irritation in the vaginal area, so its possible that the bleeding is caused by irritation? Also I'm planning on telling him to practice how to put one on, I'm not that irresponsible to have sex un-protected. Also I have a Phobia of swallowing pills, so its kinda hard to take "per-caution". But I still have one question, will the pregnancy pill work if I smoosh it and put it in some kind of food, then swallow it?
Even if he didn't break your hymn im sure it still caused irritation and possibly some bleeding. I doubt you are pregnant and if you want to engage in sexual activities without getting pregnant maybe you should have him practice putting a condom on a banana until he can do it to himself. Also, you might want to get on birth control as well since even with a condom nothing is 100% guaranteed.
