I am debating wether to take the flu shot or not. I have asthma & I am now 12 weeks pregnant. I am worried on taking anything while I am pregnant. Is it a good idea to take it or not????

That is what my doctor told me every time. But if your line of work put you at risk like if you are working with young children or in an hospital. You should talk to your doctor if its safe to get it in your first trimester before the big flu season starts.

They are great to get! I got one with each pregnancy and I still got the flu with my second but much much milder than if I had not. My personal opinion is to get one to help protect your unborn baby espically if your ob is pushing you to but if you are uncomfortable then maybe you should decline. Its a personal decision. Hope that helps a little :)

Flu shot are usualy safe after the first trimester. It's going to protect you against a flu that could be dangerous for you and your baby. Talk to you practitionner about concern.
