Foetal growth retardation.

Can low sperm count cause foetal restriction?.i went to sperm count analysis,the result showed that i have a low sperm count,but my wife has eversince became pregnant twice by me.but the foetus of both pregnancy were terminated consecutively as a result of retardation of growth of the foetus.i want to know if low sperm count can cause that kind of situation.thanks.

I don't believe so. Maybe the couple she got were bad sperm or her eggs were a little too old? I honestly wouldn't know for sure and would ask a doc but people with normal counts can have some mutation/issue/prob to cause that as well. my ex has a low sperm count and my son came out 9lb and 21.5in long. My other ex was supposedly never supposed to have kids because it was that low, but had a healthy 8lb 4oz baby 19 3/4in long and am about to have his twins on Tuesday.
