Food Poisoning during Pregnancy

My wife having diarrhea and vomiting last night. She is having 16 weeks pregnancy. I had sent her to clinic and checked by dr. So dr. was given her medicines (Pain killer, Panadol, Stop diarrhea, Activated Charcoal, Oral Rehydration Salt). Those medicines will harm to baby? Should my wife admit to hospital? Anyone can help?

Please help....

I was sick two weeks ago.  It lasted about 36 hours.  I kept nothing down.  If it had lasted 48 hours, I would have gone in for IV fluids (to help keep my amniotic fluid levels up).  If she is still sick tomorrow, she should go see her OB.  My opinion on the anti-diarrheal's are that if it is food poisoning, it's better to get everything out.  But after about 16 hours of vomiting, my abdomen hurt more and more everytime I threw up.  Good Luck!
