For those who get ovulation cramps...

What do they feel like?  I've never paid in depth attention to my cycle becuase I've never really had to .  DH and I always just use the "don't try/don't prevent" method so I've never really had a need to know whether or not I was ovulating and when.  I know that I have randomly over the last few years gotten sharp pains on one side or the other that last a day or two but never really put two and two together until recently.

I'm not waiting for my first PP AF.  I stopped BFing almost 7 weeks ago.  It's been about 5 weeks since my milk dried up.  Last week I had a lot of EWCM, then last night I started having sharp pains on the left side.  Not like double you over kind of pain, more like a short stabbing pain.  They would come in clusters every so often. Sometimes several stabs in a short period, othertimes fewer pains in a longer period.  Then this morning I noticed that my left side was sore on the inside when I tried to lay on it.  I still have a dull ache in that spot-right about the top of my hip bone.  

Does this sound like it might be O pain?  Just curious cuz I'm wondering if I will EVER get my cycle back!

LOL @ Michele.  Yeah...it's kinda like wishing you'd hurry up and go into labor....then you do !!  Welll I def need to write this down and see what happens in the next two weeks!!!!

Sounds like O pain to me too.  Mine could/would get so bad, that I would have to take Advil to help with the pain.  I could literally become breathless from the pain at times.  My pain felt more like someone was squeezing my ovary as hard as they could.  It was so painful.  Plus the EWCM and that pain close together, would tell me it was time or almost time.

I know how it feels waiting for that first cycle.  But then once it comes, you wonder why you wanted it to come back at all.  LOL!

I agree it sounds like O pain..for me it feels like someone is reaching in and pinching my insides...it sometimes lasts a while but it usually just feels like a few pinches every few minutes over a few hours...and then nothing before or after. hoping this means AF is on the way!

YES! That does sound like O pain. It wasn't always the exact same thing for me every month some times I would just get the one sharp pain out of nowhere and then have aches on that side for several hours after that. Other months it would be light pains that come and go building up to O then again a sore feeling on that side.

Also if you noticed O pain you might notice that you continue to have off and on little cramps on that same side. Months when I had af it would last until the day my period started and when I was pregnant it lasted for several weeks into the pregnancy. Something to do with the cyst that forms there to support an early pregnancy. If your not pg it dissolves and goes away.

With any luck you'll get af in 12 days or so.
