Full Moon and Labor

Just kind of wondering if anybody belives this tall or not. I have heard from a lot of people that a full moon can make your water break or cause you to go into labor. I have also read some articles that says it is true.

I HOPE SO!!!!  That would be awesome....And Joy.....you're right....I'm a nurse and admissions are crazy on nights of full moons....and the older patients tend to lose their minds on those nights too!

I don't know but I am hoping so!  There is a full moon on the 27th of this month (I think)  a perfect day for me to pop!

I believe it is true. Something about the earth's gravitational pull or something. Just like the moon guides sea turtles to lay their eggs and for the young to get back to the sea- I also believe that women are more likely to go into labor during a full moon around their due date.

Nurses also make jokes on full moon days to get ready for patients (not just laboring women)!
