Full after eating a small amount of food

I am about 7w 3d pregnant and for about the past week or so when I eat I can't even finish all of meal without feeling extremely full and uncomfortable.  Today I had about 1 cup of soup and could only eat about half of it before feeling really full.  I did have like 4 crackers with it as well.  Is this normal to get full so quickly?  I have a pretty bad cold for the last 3 days but this started before the cold started.  Thanks ladies this is my first pregnancy so I worry over every little thing.

Oh I know I won't starve...haha.  I was just curious because it is so different for me.  I thought it was the hormones kicking in so thanks ladies for the help and reassurance.

I was the same way. I would eat about half my meal and be so full and uncomfortable. Around 13-14 weeks I started being able to eat full meals again.

I just ate every few hours because I would be starving again but only able to eat a little bit. Now I eat about three to four times a day. I'm so glad I'm not constantly hungry anymore. I'm suprised I didn't gain any weight either with the way I was eating every few hours but I ate mostly fruit and veggies between meals.
