Genetic testing

I had to go back to the debtor an ultrasound the baby looked great an moving around waving it was so cute but they asked if I wanted to do genetic testing I said no with my first two kids because there's very little science behind it an it's very common to get false negatives well now they have a new test that actually separates my cells from the baby's so I decided to do it they also told me it'll tell me my baby's gender so I'm really excited an nervous anyone else do the new genetic test an have the right result NOT the quad test

That's good I have a feeling I'm having another girl I had my blood drawn Wednesday so I'll find out the 1st week in December

I feel better about this one I didn't even bother with my first two kids because of how inaccurate it was but this time with the new test I'm more confident that the results will be correct. I still wanna do an elective ultrasound just to double check the gender though lol

It won't be wrong. They're literally checking baby's chromosomes. They're either XX or XY, that simple. I'm 33 weeks tomorrow and she's still a girl (got the test done at 11 weeks).

The current genetic testing that extracts fetal cells is highly accurate. I wouldn't have bothered with the quad test, but this one is well worth it. Since they're checking the baby's chromosomes, they won't wrong, it's very straightforward. The rates of false indicators for chromosomal abnormalities are also incredibly low.
