Until you start showing then you should not. And I'd do to belly support band for pregnancy when u start to get big
Now obviously you don't want to wear a corset but a girdle thats not super tight is fine
I wear one at work cause im on my feet all day long my doctor said it was fine until I get big then I should wear a baby support band. People generally think its bad because they think it will "smoosh" your baby which is not true its the same with sleeping on your tummy
I wear one at at work because I'm on my feet all day and my back hurts really bad my doctor told me
Girdles hurt the baby and can cause defects and other major issues for you and baby .
Please do not wear a girdle while you are pregnant! A lot of people say it was not the cause of this and it is not my fault, but i do believe so. I was 19 and pregnant with my second child. I was embarassed and ashamed and tried to hide my pregnancy with a girdle up until i was 4 and a half months pregnant. My son was born with one of his hands webbed like and grew short stubs for fingers on that hand. The other hand was developed perfect as well as everything else. I have 2 other children who are perfectly fine which i never wore a girdle.
I can not help but to think and blame myself for his development.
Anyone thinking of or wearing a girdle i wouldnt chance it...
Thank you. I elected to not wear one after all. I do look puffy and boated. I wish there was a girdle for my face, people have been comenting on my cheeks. lol.
I read somewhere that i shouldn't wear one because the baby is stretching and there needs to be room. But there are some type of maternity girdles but those arent worn till I'm comfortable with myself.
I'm not really feeling much of anything just irritable and most foods don't make me want it. But, I don't get all queasy or anything like that. With my first pregnancy (daughter 5 years old now) I felt all those symptoms, I was sick of everything. If my body wasnt craving it it was coming out.
actually wearing girdles can cause birth defects if you wear them later on in your pregnancy. i think it would be fine right now but when you get a little further i wouldn't recommend it.
wow. I would assume you are pregnant also. tests are generally correct. congrats.
I always felt pretty bloated early on & I felt like I looked puffy. I would just try to change the style of clothing to accomidate.
I also felt very queasy & lightheaded this last time around. I wouldn't want to fainting or something because to felt too restricted.
I understand not telling people. that is your choice, but when I had a miscarriage last year, I was very glad people knew so they could emotionally support me.
I'm just assuming I'm 3 weeks. My last period was December 9th but my cycles are alot longer, I get my period every 40ish days. I took my first early home pregnancy test a week and a day ago and it had a faint pink line. Since then I've taken two more and each time the pregnancy line has gotten darker. I'm not really telling anyone, just in case something happens.
I wouldnt. I would just wear diferrent style clothes to cover that bloated feeling until you are comfortable telling people.
You know you are pregnant already at 3 weeks?????
It will not hurt the baby but it is not healthy either.
