Glucose Test

I have my glucose test today and I'm kind of nervous, what should I expect? ?

Well my doctor didn't tell me anything about it but I didn't eat anything past 8pm so I hope that helps and I have been drinking my regular intake on water but I'll try alot on my way over there

Ask your doctor if you have to fast cause I didn't have to and I passed mine

I had the club soda which taste like sprite. But I did not know you were suppose to fast, so I ate and was off by 2 points so I had to take it again for three hours. If you could pick ur flavor try the club soda, the orange is nasty. Beat of luck and remember nothing on ur stomach except water

I just did my 1 hour glucose test yesterday.  I had the orange flavor. It literally tasted like a sunkist! But I drank it and sat in the lobby for an hour and they drew my blood and that was it! It's not bad at all. I was so scared about it too

Fast before hand if your doctor didn't tell you that already. It's hard but drink plenty of water. I had the hour test they gave me orange wasn't bad at all. But fast fast fast in passed mine that way. No problems

Fruit punch wasn't terrible.  Tastes like Koolaid and Gatorade kinda. You get three minutes to drink it. Then you sit around for an hour (bring something to do). They will call you back again and take your blood. I did it at almost 13 weeks and yesterday at 24+6

A very sugar drink, it might make you feel a little nauseous but don't throw up or you'll have to drink it again, they will draw your blood in an hour, then once you leave I would recommend eating something asap (I ate a mcdonalds cheeseburger after mine and felt so much better).

Depends if it's 1 hour, 2 hour or 3 hour. I had a 2 hour. They drew blood, gave me a fruit punch drink (wasn't too bad), told me to come back each hour for the next 2 hours to have blood drawn again. Then I went to Hardee's and ate everything I could!
