Glucose test

I am 29 weeks and recently took the glcuose test, no fasting involved. I had lunch at 12 including two yummy cookies and drank the glucose drink at 3 and had my blood drawn at 4. I get a call the next day because my levels were a little high @ 146. So I'm going to get another 3 hour test done on monday, should I be concerned or worried about gestational diabetes? help...im nervious about this...thanks

MANY women fail the 1 hr glucose. I have failed it in 3 pregnancies so far but always pass the 3 hr.  I wouldn't worry unless the 3 hr is high

When i took my first one it was high after fasting for 2 hours, but when i did the three hour test i had to fast for 6 hours and it came back just fine.  Don't worry about it too much yet, but just try to skip the sugar before the next test.  Good luck!

Lots of women get g.d. and it just has to be controlled with diet. I would say maybe skip the cookies this time around and see what the results are :) Sometimes it can just be a fluke but better safe than sorry :)
