Got a Question - please respond

So I have a question.  I am a little confused about all of this going on here.  So I'm due for my period to show up on the 5th of October.  Last night I noticed brownish/pinkish spotting when I wiped, but then this morning I got up and went to the bathroom and my period is here!  I'm shocked because I can't even remember when I was ever early like this in a long long time.  It's CD31 for me today (or rather it's CD1 for me now).  My question is this - does this mean that I ovulated earlier than I thought or maybe I didn't ovulate at all?  I thought I was gonna ovulate around the 21st of this month, we had sex once around the 12th of september, then we BD'd more around the 21st of September.  I wanna get some insight if anyone has any because I'm gonna BD'd with DF as soon as I am done with this period.  He agrees - he thinks that I ovulated pretty much after my last period and we did it one week too late.  I'm confused and short of having sex every day or every other day with him for a whole month I don't know what to do anymore.

What makes someone who is always late or nearly on time with a period get it nearly 7 days early?  Anyone have any expericence or ideas?

If you are unsure of when you will ovulate, try using OPKs.  They worked for me! :)  They are a little pricey, but if you look around on the internet there are coupons for certain brands, and many times at Walgreens they are on sale.  Good luck and hope you get preggers soon :)

You will get your period 12-16 days after ovulation. So you ovulated early.
