Group B Strep?!

What is it? What can be done about it?

Half of women get it, do its normal. They just give you antibiotics during labor so you don't pass it to your baby. No biggie

It's just a bacteria in your body.  If you test positive for it they have to give you medicine through an IV while you are giving birth to get rid of it otherwise your baby can get it and be born with meningitis.
