I am also having HCG rising then lowering rising then lowering but i have bleeding and cramping as well ... they think in my case is a M/C or a tubal pregnancy . But with ur wife my cousin had something similair and well i dont want to get ur hopes up but she had twins boys 12 months ago at full term her hormones just went a lil crazy at the begining . i would be asking for a U/S as at 2670 there should be a heart beat by now . Or at least a sack ... GOOD LUCK WITH EVERYTHING i hope i helped ease some worry .
