HCG Level

Hi,

Today my wife blood results have come for pregnancy and it mentions the beta HCG level is 2722.0 IU/L. Is it normal to have such level during 4 weeks? Please help.

That sounds plenty high enough to me, but there can be such a variance in normal levels of HCG early on that one test isn't enough to get a clear picture. What the Dr will be looking for is for the HCG levels to double every 48 hours. Based on just the one number you have it looks high enough that I wouldn't be concerned about it.

Thanks for the comments. Dr have taken another blood test today to see the level of HCG. But can you please tell me how much is the normal range for 4-5 weeks pregnant women.
