HCG is this normal?

Hello everyone, hope everyone is doing well :)

I was wondering if my HCG seem normal to those that know about this

* Just to let anyone know I have had ultrasounds this early due to findings that made the doctors nervous so they are still checking on things to see when I embryo shows up since there has been some findings on the ultrasound, by next ultrasound if they see a healthy, good embryo I am done with the ultrasounds and tests all the time, I want a break from it and I believe you really don't need to do ultrasounds until later or pain, etc.?*

~~~~~~~~~~~~~HCG LEVELS~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Friday 12th=        1271
Sat 15th= No tests done
Sun 14th=            2810
Mon 15th= around 3000                (Doesn't seem like a huge difference...doubling?)
Tues, Wed, Thur= No tests done
Fri=                      8000 (a bit under 8000 doctor said today)
It seems like from last Friday to this Friday they only went up about a bit more than 6700 HCG
So that doesn't seem like the normal doubling or whatever it is that I hear normal pregnant women have??
but maybe I am confused.
My pregnancy dates are told to be about 5 1/2 weeks maybe a bit more and the ges. sack is growing was around 5mm on Monday and Friday the 18th I think it was 11mm,
I have a small yolk sac but embryo seen.
I thought if your HCG was above a certain level you could see it but maybe I am once again wrong?
On thursday I got an ultrasound and no embryo was seen so I am not going to go again until next Friday because then I should be about 6.5 weeks maybe more.
The dates are way wrong so I am confused. My last period was Jan. 14th, 2010 and I ONLY HAD INTERCOURSE SINCE JANUARY SO I thought I was closer to 2 months (8 weeks pregnant) but the ultrasound is showing 5-6 weeks. So maybe their right or maybe it will wind up evening out with the dates?
I am mainly just wondering if my HCG seem normal to others?
Well, thanks so much for reading and helping me with anything you know or think. Have a good one :)
Hello Sofia
Thanks for your reply, it nice to know that other women experience the dates being off. Because the more the doctor's tell me, "No you must have your dates off", the more I start to think maybe I am wrong. But I know I am not in this situation since I kept track of my periods starting Jan. 2010 and I know 100% when I have had intercourse since I am only with one person and have been for 10 years. When I was 1st estimated at 8 weeks I wouldn't of had any doubts that something may be wrong but now they measure me at about 6 weeks maybe more by today and that is questionable to me.
But like you said my next ultrasound will tell everything I am sure of that.
So I will for once have a real answer and not be so confused hopefully after next week's ultrasound.
I just want to know for once if I am really going to have a baby or did something happen if so what?
So thanks again for writting me and I hope everything works out for you :)
Take Care
Hi I am in the same situation as you
I am suppose to be 7 weeks pregnant but the ultrasound dated me at 5 weeks so I have to wait my hormone levels are a bit funny too. I have to wait 2 weeks to see if it has grown. Its hard because I have had some bleeding too.
Thanks for everyone's reply
As far as when I found out I was pregnant was on the 9th of March confirmed by medical tests. As far as a real age of the pregnancy was estimated on Monday the 15th of March at 5.5 weeks. However, I relized I didn't have my period since Jan. 14th-18th around the beginning of March so then I tested and confirmed it.
I will find out everything for sure in a week and a half because they should see an embryo or something by then because I would be around 6.5-7 weeks (their estimate).
Hopefully, that kind of answers your question
Thanks again:)
Your HCG levels are rising appropriately and the fact you have seen growth of gestational sac is encouraging.
When did you first find out that you were pregnant?
If you are about 5.5 weeks pregnant (is this based on the US readings?) that means that you would have conceived ~3.5-4 weeks ago.
