HCG levels

Had a miscarriage second week of Feb. Was only a few weeks along. Got my period on Feb. 12.  Was normal. Started spotting on MArch third. ook my HCG levels on MArch 9. They were 2000 took levels again on March 14th and were 500.  Feb. 8th levels were 3000. Haven't had period since. Could I be pregnant? My breasts started to hurt on March 14th and loss of appetite.

When I went in on the eighth of Feb. The doctor did an internal ultrasound and it showed nothing. Just thickening of the wall. Since I was so early he didn't think I needed an D&C. I was only four weeks along.

It could be that tissue is still left over and you may need a D&C. The next tests will be more telling. If your levels get high enough they can do a sonogram. It's possible you got pregnant again quickly.

It has been over a month since my miscarriage. We knew for sure on the tenth of Feb. My breasts stopped hurting but have started agian two days ago. Not sure what is going on with my body. Waiting for my period. I go back on Monday to test my levels again.

Levels can drop very quickly after m/c.  I had mine in July, and my level was around 6k.  Within a month it was almost down to 0 and by the end of 5 weeks it was done.

Dr said to come back in a week for another blood test. Took a pregnancy test at the docd office on the eighth. Was positive. He is just concerned that it dropped over thre days. If I got my perod would my levels drop more than a thousand in a month?
