I have two children. One is 14 and the other is 12. With my first pregnancy I developed HELLP which resulted in an emergency caesarean as my blood pressure was seriously high - as the doctor put it, it was that of an unfit 300lb pound man. I had obstetric care throughout my second pregnancy with minimal complications. Blood pressure was up during labour but managed a natural birth. Has anyone else ever developed HELLP and gone on to have another child after such a length of time without too many complications? I am thinking about adding to our family. I'm 34, relatively fit and healthy
